Hospital Link logo

Hospital Link is an Android and iOS app that links data sources in the hospital environment and makes them available on a simple platform.

The linking of patient location data, pathology, radiology, pharmacy dispensing and discharge, and optional items such as theatre lists.

This application supports electronic referrals from clinicians to allied health.

Multi layer security requires separate administration to enable the app as well as allow access to hospital data. The security system is further customisable to integrate with other ID validation systems.

Installation Notes

  • NOTE: APP NEEDS TO BE LINKED TO A REGISTERED HOSPITAL / PROVIDER IN ORDER TO FUNCTION

  • After opening the app, tap “Select Provider”

  • On the next screen tap “Scan QR code” and scan the QR code given to you by the Hospital Link provider. If this does not work, type the full key (below the QR code) into the entry box at the bottom and hit submit (NOTE: Internet connection is required to add a provider)

  • After provider is added, tap on the provider to activate it

  • If you do not have a username/password to access the app, tap “Request Access”, fill in the form details and tap “Submit” (your credentials will be emailed to you)

Information Collection and Use

For registration purposes, users will be required to supply their email address, full name, job title, mobile phone number, and AHPRA registration number. This information is sent to your Hospital Link provider. Information will not be provided to other third parties.

Communications

Apart from email contact during the registration process, users should only receive communication regarding important app changes

Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Provider servers are not maintained or controlled by Zepli. Please contact providers directly for detailed information on data storage.

Sensitive App Permissions

This app requires permission to use the camera on the user’s device. This is only required for scanning a provider QR code during the initial setup of the app.

Account Removal

If you would like to have your user account details removed for Hospital Link, either contact your provider directly, or contact Zepli via the contact form.
Please include the following details :

  • Your account email address
  • The name of the provider that you connect to.

Providers independently host servers for Hospital Link and operate under varying health regulations for storage of data. Upon request for account removal, the provider will be notified to commence account termination. Any data required to be stored under health or other regulation may not be removed immediately.
